Garry is a mining engineer with extensive professional experience in the development, operation and planning of metalliferous and coal mines. He has held a range of executive positions on Parent and Citizen Committees, is a long term member of Australian Red Cross and is a member of the Red Cross Newcastle Emergency Services Team.
Julie has been parish priest of the Toronto Anglican Community since February 2014.She has an extensive background in administration, management, human resources and workplace training and assessment gained from various positions within the Australian Public Service in the ACT, NSW and in Qld. Julie also worked in the regional community based organisations - Maitland Training and Employment Centre and Hunter Labourforce Solutions. Since her ordination in 2003, Julie has held a variety of diocesan positions. She has been the Area Dean of the Manning, a member of the Storm Retirement Villages Board, executive staff member of Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College and also held clerical positons in East Maitland, Cessnock, Blue Gum Hills and Forster Tuncurry.

Terry recently retired as a Crown Prosecutor after working for 42 years in the NSW Court system. He is married with three adult children and has been resident of Newcastle since 2000.
Trisha has run a small business providing accountancy and business services since 1980 after leaving her position as Clerk of Chambers to raise a family. Trisha has provided support to the Lake Macquarie community over many years in a voluntary capacity across sporting and aged and disabled care activities.
Gwenda is a Principal Psychologist and Co-Director of The LifeWise Centre. Gwenda works mainly with adults. She holds a Master of Psychology and Bachelor of Arts degrees, with a diploma in Social Science, Diploma in Education and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
Gwenda is a Registered Psychologist and Accredited Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. She also has accreditation with Medicare, WorkCover and Victims of Crime. As well as providing consultancy and supervision for other people in the helping professions, Gwenda supervises Provisionally Registered Psychologists during their pre-registration period.
Gwenda's areas of special interest and experience include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, post traumatic stress, pain management. She mainly uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnosis and EMDR (especially helpful for trauma) and undertakes regular ongoing professional development and supervision.
Carolyn worked for Hunter TAFE, where her role as Head Teacher of Children's Services involved the management of on-campus and distance delivery of early childhood, OOSH, TVET and traineeships across the wider Hunter region. Prior to this she taught at primary schools in Sydney and western Lake Macquarie, was Director of Carinya, Hunter TAFE's long day care facility, and was the initial Director of Booragul Community Preschool (Woodrising), where she worked with FACS, Landcom and parent bodies to construct and operate the facility. Carolyn holds qualifications in education, psychology and management, and is committed to reducing educational disadvantage.
